Mr. Tokutake earned his B.S. degree in accounting from San Diego State University and went to work for a local public accounting firm that specializes in serving subsidiaries of Japanese companies. He joined Hotta & Company (later renamed as Hotta Liesenberg Saito) in 1995 and has built a distinguished record of services to many of the firm's major clients.
Mr. Tokutake has gained a variety of experiences including audit and attestation, tax consultations, and accounting system consultations and been highly acknowledged as "all-around professional." His experience and expertise along with the excellent quality of his work are valuable assets to the firm and play an integral role in multinational clients in a wide range of industries.
Mr. Tokutake was promoted to manager in 1999 and directed audit and attestation engagements. He also showed strong leadership in numerous projects at the firm. In 2000, he led the team to create and implement a web-based accounting processing system for a multinational corporation in Japan. In 2006, he supervised the project for introducing a paperless workpaper system to the firm for audit and review engagements. His unswerving commitment to the top quality of work is highly esteemed by his clients as well as his colleagues.
Mr. Tokutake was admitted as partner in 2007. Along with supervising audit and assurance services in Los Angeles office, he plays an important role in educating the firm's younger professionals and overseeing the relationships with the clients.
Mr. Tokutake is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of California. He is also a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
During his time away from work, he enjoys playing golf and tennis. He is fond of dining out and enjoys ethnic foods.
