Hotta Liesenberg Saito Opens Office in Chicago

Chicago, December 28, 2006 - Hotta Liesenberg Saito announced today that it has opened an office in Chicago to meet the increasing demands for various types of professional services in the Midwest market. In addition, the firm announced that Mr. Tom Kurimura has been appointed as the Chicago Office Managing Director, effective immediately. In January of 2007, Advisory Services Department was established to provide Japanese version of SOX Readiness Assessment and Assistance Services, responding to the new requirements for internal control over financial reporting in Japan, effective April 1, 2008.

After working for a private economic research institute in Japan, Mr. Kurimura joined one of the Big 4 firms in Chicago and Detroit and worked on audit engagements for US, European, and Japanese companies in various industries for over 10 years. Under his leadership, Chicago office has been providing clients with not only traditional assurance and tax services, however, also with other types of services that contribute to the increase in effectiveness and efficiency of the company's day-to-day operations and financial reporting.
