Mr. Nakajima joined Hotta Liesenberg Saito in May 2009 as tax senior manager. He is responsible for leading Tax, Consultation & Advisory Department, as well as developing and training tax professionals in the New York office.

Prior to joining HLS, Mr. Nakajima has over 10 years of experience at Big 4 accounting firms. He gained experience in various areas of tax, including corporation, individual, payroll, sales and use tax, property tax, and unclaimed property, and dealt and negotiated with IRS and state agents in settling tax examinations. He served U.S.-based Japanese companies in various industries, including wholesale, construction, banking, investment, manufacturing, real estate, as well as U.S. companies in media and technology industries.

Mr. Nakajima earned his MS in Accounting from University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the states of Illinois and New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
