Mr. Liesenberg earned his B.B.A. degree from City College of New York and attended New York University and Pace College in New York for graduate level tax courses.

George has 26 years of experience working in tax departments for Ernst & Young, including 14 as a tax partner. He was the Regional Director of Tax for his firm's South Asia practice and lived for eight years in Singapore. During his tenure as Regional Director, the firm expanding its number of tax professionals in the region from 16 to 109. He has also worked for seven years as a Vice President in a local Southern California CPA firm.

Mr. Liesenberg joined Hotta Liesenberg Saito as the Partner of Tax Services, and he currently is an Executive Advisor of the firm since 2005. His knowledge and experience have proven to be invaluable, especially to our international clients.

He has extensive experience in both domestic and international tax planning, tax compliance, accounting, and managing accounting firms. He has performed a wide variety of tax related services for clients including assisting with the tax implications of foreign firms investing and operating in the U.S., corporate reorganization, distributions, liquidations, tax carryovers, and bankruptcies.

Away from the office, Mr. Liesenberg is actively involved in several civic and charitable organizations. He and his wife enjoy traveling around the world and playing tennis together.
