Yoshimasa Hotta

Mr. Hotta earned his B.A. in management from Eckerd College in Florida and his MBA at Abilene Christian University in Texas. He also completed executive programs at New York University and Northwestern University. He began his professional career at a mid-sized accounting firm where he learned the basics of accounting and income tax preparation.

After moving to Deloitte & Touche, he became a senior manager in the firm's Japan practice. He managed a wide variety of engagements at the firm including audits of multinational corporations, tax consultations, business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, and systems consultations.

In 1990, Mr. Hotta founded Hotta & Company, later to be renamed as Hotta Liesenberg Saito, with a commitment to offer top quality accounting services at reasonable prices. It is his goal to not only provide accounting and tax work for his clients, but to also be a business partner to help them grow and improve their businesses. His attention to client service and quality are core values at the firm and shared by all of the directors and staff. He is the Managing Partner at HLS, responsible for all operations of the firm. Aside from his managing duties, he spends the majority of his hours in the office working closely with clients as a business advisor and on special projects to help them improve their bottom lines.

Mr. Hotta is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the states of California and New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant. He is also a General Securities Registered Representative.

Away from the office, Mr. Hotta is actively involved in several civic and charitable organizations. He enjoys working around the house and in the yard. He is especially fond of working in the garden and reading.
